It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Mary Lechner of Nebraska City, Nebraska, who passed away on February 1, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterling J. Kreifels and Caroline E. Kreifels (Heng); her husband Bob Lechner; and her siblings, Francis "Pat" Kreifels (Irma), John Kreifels, Joyce Kempkes (Norman), Jean Wurtele (Don) and Marcene Burr (Alan).
She is survived by: her children, Robert Lechner (Debbie) of Nebr, Juli Lechner of Nebr, Ron Lechner (Kathy) of Nebr and Janelle Lechner of Nebr; her grandchildren, Robbie Lechner (Sarah), Tyler Lechner, Kourtney Jacobs (Aaron), Holly Lechner and Thomas Krisko; her great grandchildren, Hannelore, Jayson, Robbie Mark and Kinsley; her sister Marilyn Neels (Orlin) of Syracuse; and her sister-in-law Janet Kreifels of Lincoln. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Memorials may be given to St. Mary's Catholic Church/Cemetery or Nebraska City Rescue.
