Betty Jean Aksamit Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2022, at the age of 89, Betty Jean Aksamit of Nebraska City, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Adolph Carl and Ida Marida Hohensee (Maple); her children, Harold, Kenneth Aksamit (Pat) of Reeds Spring, MO, Doug Aksamit (Julie) of Nebr and Debra Stephenson of Nebr; her daughter-in-law Mary Anne Aksamit of Bruning, NE; her grandchildren, Tonya, Mindy, Michael (Emily), Bryan (Marissa), Brad, Beau, Brittney, Blake and Nicolas; her siblings, Bonnie Ford of Boise, ID and Donald Hohensee (Ann) of Lincoln, NE; her husband Robert Aksamit; her son Kevin Aksamit; and her brother Robert Hohensee.

Memorials may be given to the Breast Cancer Association or the American Lung Association.
