He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton John "Bud" and Patsy Ruth Bruns (Hawley). He is survived by: his wife Lois Bruns of Nebr; his children, Lacie Bruns-Morris of Nebr, Mitch and Chad; his granddaughter Lexis Maris Bruns-Morris of Nebr; his sister Mary Donna Lane (Gary) of Nebr; his stepson Ron Schalk (Julie) of Nebr; his stepgrandchild Ron Schalk III; his wife Rachel Dovel; and also, Philip Hauptman II of Nebr and Amanda Dovel (Zach).
