It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen M. Paap Jr. (Nebraska City, Nebraska), who passed away on December 13, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen M. Sr. Paap and Hannah G. Paap (Norton); his wife Phyllis (Gress); his sister Rachel Ross (Arlen); and his son-in-law Todd Aksamit.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Paap of Omaha, NE, Susan Frederick of Papillion, NE, Wanda White (Larry) of Lincoln, NE, Jim Paap (Susan) of Lincoln, NE, Nancy Durr (Jeff) of Paxton, NE, Paula Aksamit of Syracuse, NE and John Paap (Allysyn) of Dunbar, NE; his grandchildren, Michelle Wescott (Steve), Mellissa McSpadden (Scot), Jarod Steiner, Tony Durr (Becky), P. J. Jackson (Grant), Jake Paap, Tanner Paap, Chance Paap, Shasta Paap, Rayce Aksamit, Shayna Murrell (Ryan) and Dylan Paap; his sister Jeanette Kastens (Richard) of Otoe, NE; and his close friend Joann Sauberzweig. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
