Albert James Carrillo Obituary

With solemn reverence, we commemorate Albert James Carrillo (Nebraska City, Nebraska), whose life came to an end on March 5, 2025 at the age of 98, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lira and Ida Luella Carrillo (Greer); his sons-in-law, Rich James and Wes Harrah; and his siblings, Joseph, Ruth and Bernice.

He is survived by: his significant other Bernice Louise Kalhorn; his son William Spire of Omaha, NE; his brother Gilbert Carrillo; his niece Cathy Daugherty (Darrell); and his nephews, Jeff Carrillo of Las Vegas, NV and John Carrillo of Carolina Beach, NC. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gude Mortuary (403 S 9th St, Nebraska City, NE 68410).

Memorials may be given to the Nebraska City American Legion Baseball Assn.
