It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Cantrell (Murray, Nebraska), who passed away on July 7, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandchild Tony Cushing (Paula); and her siblings, Glayden Russell, Bryant Russell, Adrienne Gardner and Rosemary Smith.
She is survived by: her spouses, Eugene Swaringen and Delmar Cantrell; her brothers, Donald Russell (LaDona) and Norman Russell (Diane); her children, Dianna VanderMeyden (Mark), Kim Swaringen, Melinda Mandrillo (Vic), Russell Cantrell (Devonna) and David Cantrell (Luna); her grandchildren, Ashley VanderMeyden, Nick VanderMeyden, Kate Mattson (Austin), Alex Cantrell, Michael Cantrell, Phoenix Cantrell, Zinnia Cantrell, Andy Swaringen and Nikki Burger (Phil); and her great grandchildren, Maddie Cushing, Jakob Cushing, Zoey Anderson and Thomas Burger.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grafton Heritage Partnership Project (graftonheritage.org) to support the pioneer heritage Doris so loved.
