It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winona Henk of Murdock, Nebraska, who passed away on July 28, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Winona Henk to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Jeffery and Ruth Barbara Jeffery (Lempka); her stepmother Gena Jeffery; and her siblings, Ruth Ann Fritz and Robert Jeffery.
She is survived by: her former husband Steven A. Henk; her husband Steve Henk of Murdock, NE; her children, Jeremy "Jey" Henk (Lori) of Crested Butte, CO, Travis Harold Henk (Beth King) of Murdock and Amber Burke (Chris) of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Corbin Henk (Laura Dilley), Carson and Alex Burke; her brother Tom Thies (Becky) of Lincoln; her brother-in-law John Fritz (Shirleen) of Beatrice; and her siblings, Jim Thies (Gracie) of Lewiston, Dan Thies of Beatrice, Jack Thies (Susan) of Beatrice, Ron Jeffery (Annie) of Virginia and Pamela "P. J.". She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation to the ALS Association, Ebenezer United Methodist Church or Josie Harper Hospice House.
