He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert B. Prentice and Elsie A. Prentice. He is survived by: his children, Allen Vargason (Nancy Vargason) and Melanie Lee (Mario Aguilera); his wife Bonnie L. Vargason of Alliance, Nebraska; his daughter Michele Prentice of Newcastle, Wyoming; and his sisters, Mildred Szwanek of Mullen, NE and Myra Fackler of Wellfleet. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
