He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Isom and Nellie Isom (Boyer). He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his sons, Shawn Isom (Jean) of North Platte and Charles Isom (Nora) of Ashland; and his grandchildren, Seth Bargell, Sydnee Isom and Ana Isom.
