He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Stranik and Adeline Stranik (Jirik) of Morse Bluff; his sisters, Phyllis Spence and Carol Stranik; his brother-in-law Richard Spence; and his nephews, Joe Spence and Greg Spence.
He is survived by: his wife Kathie Gaughen of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, Amy McCarthy (Jim), Rita (Raffet Velarde), Tom Stranik (Erica) and Stacey Blue; his grandchildren, Ryan Jespersen (Sunny), Megan Jespersen, Lauren Jespersen, Natalia Velarde, Diego Velarde, Gavin Stranik, Cooper, Peyton Blue and Logan Blue; his siblings, James Stranik and Maribeth Stranik; and his nephews, Jeff Spence, Steve Spence and Wyatt Stranik.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moser Memorial Chapel Funeral & Cremation Services (2170 N Somers Ave, Fremont, NE 68025). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. George Catholic Church (250 Short St, Morse Bluff, NE 68648).
