He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Kerwin and Clara Bell Kerwin (Adams); his siblings, Don, Lawrence, Marilyn Finnel, Kay Bolte, Natalie Garner and Shirley Oschner; and his grandson Jeremy Crist.
He is survived by: his former wife Carol Kimble; his children, Diana Kerwin–Kubr Kerwin (Rod) of Wahoo, NE, Kevin Kerwin (Jaclyn) of Columbus, NE, Becky Kerwin (Jason Lillie) of Cedar Bluffs and Cindy Kranz (Scott) of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Robert Kerwin (Mindy), Kelsey McDonald (Jerimy), Kaelyn Schroeder (Ben), Cortland Kerwin (Trenton Haltrom), Jesse Crist (Corina), Jaime Crist (Michael Towne), Alexandria Kranz and Sara Ross (Chase); and his great grandchildren, Ashton, Addison, James, Emma, Jemma, Kora, Kiefer and Audie.
