He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Cashatt and Karolyn Cashatt (Graham); his son Joseph Lee; and his stepparents, William Sargent and Neola Cashatt.
He is survived by: his sons, Jake of Fontanelle, NE and Jesse of North Bend, NE; his brother Dave Cashatt (Chasta) of Nebraska City, NE; his stepbrother Robert Lucht of Fremont; his sister Karolyn Galindo of Fremont; and his grandsons, Joseph A. Cashatt and Hugh Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
