He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Vech and Alice Vech (Hines); his parents-in-law, Roy and Francis Hanke; his sister Darlene Dufek; and his siblings-in-law, Jane Ramaeker, Nancy Schaecher, Adolph Dufek, Eddie Ramaekers, Jerry Ludden, Wayne Irving, Steve Borer, Jerry Cyza and Earl Arnold.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Hanke Borer Vech; his children, Thelma Fujan (Tom), Elizabeth Rezac (Mark), Chris Borer (Michelle) and Michael Borer (Lisa); his grandchildren, Paula Ell (Josh), Jack Fujan, Micaela Dorn (Chase), Morgan Vankat (Peter), Cortney Borer, Collin Borer, Danielle Rosse, Zachery Borer, Bailey Borer and Lacy Borer (Ryan Roesler); and his siblings-in-law, Pat Ludden, Loann Irving, Bonnie Cyza, Leann Arnold, Barb Borer, Jerry Hanke (Diane), Gene Schaecher (Pam) and Lyle Borer (Jacque). He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
