We are sad to announce that on March 12, 2024, at the age of 71, William J Platt of Mitchell, Nebraska, born in Chadron, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elnora Platt and William Albert; his brothers, Terry Platt and Richard Platt; his grandfather William Robert Platt; and his niece Danielle Nayman.

He is survived by: his wife Christy Platt; his children, Riley Platt (Amber) of Gering, Tasha Haggar (Samir) of Scottsdale and Lauren Haag (Mark) of Scottsbluff; his grandchildren, Tatum, Quinn Platt, Georgiana Haggar, Colton and Carter Haag; his sister Cindy Nayman; his niece Angie Courtney; his nephews, Chad Lauder and Justin Nayman; his sister-in-law Denise Skinner; his brother Larry; and his sisters-in-law, Lois Yoakum and Shelece Yoakum.

It is respectfully requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Bill's honor be made either in care of his family or to the Panhandle Humane Society.
