With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn K. Johnson of Mitchell, Nebraska, born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, who passed away on September 16, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Thomas and Helen Thomas (Apperson). She is survived by: her husband Steve; her children, Cody Johnson (Sheri) of Laramie, WY, Chad Johnson (Carlye) of Mitchell and Shani Stapleton (Russell) of Windsor, CO; her grandchildren, Thomas (Augie), Avery Bragg of Sheridan, WY, Sydney Stapleton of Denver, CO, McCade, Emmy Johnson of Laramie, WY, Quincey and Sullivan Johnson of Mitchell; her sister-in-law Sharon Francisco; and her close friends, Sophie, Smokey and Amos. She is also survived by two nieces, as well as numerous cousins and friends.

The family respectfully respects that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Marilyn's honor be made in care of Holy Apostle's Church or the Panhandle Humane Society in Scottsbluff.
