It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Kerns of Mitchell, Nebraska, who passed away on August 1, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas and Blanche (York); her husband Joe Kerns; her siblings, Lyle, Charles, Mable, Edna, Barbara, Jean and John; her sons-in-law, Henry Cattin and Paul Walsh; and her great grandchild Ashton Bowlin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Cattin of Holliday, MO, Sandy Heine (Lloyd) of Gering, NE and Betty Walsh of Mitchell, NE; her sister Georgia Eckhardt; and her grandchildren, John Cattin (Celeste), James Cattin (Norma), Jordan Cattin (Nicole), Debra Mason (Alan), Shelly Bowlin, Jennifer Heimbouch (Kevin), Tonia Paben (Eric), Aaron Walsh (Courtney) and Beau Walsh (Ashley). She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.
