She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Gallegos and Sylveria Gallegos (Ortiz); her spouse Toby Maestas; her son Vincent Maestas; and her sisters, Mary Cavillo, Margaret Vargas and Jennie Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, Deb Taylor (late Gerry) of Mitchell, Joe Maestas (Elizabeth) of Laramie, Yvonne Zwiebel (Terry) of Norfolk, Toby Maestas (Sherry) of Kansas City, Renee Dinkelman (Donnie) of Waco and Mark Maestas (Lori) of Papillion. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to local Alzheimer's Association and to Mitchell Tiger's Scholarship Fund.
