He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bilstein and Bessie Bilstein (Dasher); and his siblings, Richard (Opal), Ellsworth (Charlene), Robert (Ruth), Charles (Mary), Mildred (Fay), Bessie, Bernice (Berle) and Devona.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Sharon Helm; his former wife Sharon of Gering; his daughters, Janelle Schultz (Mark) of Scottsbluff, Michelle Powell (John) of Scottsbluff and Jeanette (Kyle Nichols) of Mitchell; his grandchildren, Brittany Meyer (Spencer), Kortany McCauley (Alex), Justin Powell, Jeremy Powell (Ali), Cierra Nagel (Shawn) and Austyn Marshall (Marcus); his great grandchildren, Legend, Epic Marshall, Andilyn McCauley, Trumynn Nagel and Baby Meyer; and his close friend Kenny Stiver. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Scottsbluff Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or Festival of Hope.
