She is survived by: her husband Dale Shields; her stepchildren, Steven and Susan; her brother Lionel Marshall (Glenda); her children, Steve Shields and Sue Marsh; her grandchildren, Melissa Bieker (Greg), Roger Shields, Carissa Riedman-Shields, Randy Shields (Hannah), Nate Marsh (Aimee) and Hope Gillaspy (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Felicity, Josie, Elijah, Malachi, Jaxon, Bryden, Easton, Copper, Brody, Luke and Max. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
