He was predeceased by: his parents, George Weitzel and Lydia Weitzel (Henrick). He is survived by: his wife Doris; and his children, Jeffrey Weitzel (Susan), Craig Weitzel (Cindy), Wendy Lewandowski (Jay Neibauer), Eric Weitzel (Carree) and Kevin Weitzel (Donna).
