Cornell of Minden, Nebraska, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on July 12, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband David F. Cornell; her mother Hull; her sister Vivian Naber (Gerald); and her siblings-in-law, Faith Wilkerson (Bert), Martha Sanders, Gilbert Cornell (Lonnie), Jerry Cornell (Cindy) and Ted Cornell (Bea).
She is survived by: her children, Sandra, Sandy Wood (Bob) of Kingston, Illinois and Rodney Cornell (Joyce) of Elm Creek, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Jennifer Wood, Jonthon Wood, Jessica Wood, James Wood (Kim), Joshua Wood, Jerilyn Kliewer (Tim) and Claire Cornell; her great grandchild Easton Wood; her siblings, Jeanette Green of Crown Point, Indiana, LaVonne Masters (Ron) of Rapid City, Norman Tosten (Cleo) of Des Moines, Iowa, Nathan Tosten (Neta) of Ames, Iowa and David Tosten (Vicki) of Brookshire, Texas; and her brothers-in-law, Lloyd Cornell of Newburg, Oregon and Ron Sanders of St. Charles. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established in Ruth's honor, and kindly suggested to the Mother Hull Home in Kearney, Nebraska.
