He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxine Noltie of Minden, NE and Delbert Castellaw of Fairbanks Alaska; and his sister Delaine Goebel of Tulsa, Oklahoma.. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Bane Hess (Cindy) of Ft. Wayne; his daughter Kimberly Hess; his grandson Owen; and his siblings, Kim Nielsen, Lisa Cochran, Leslie Byzdani, Marilyn Hess, Bob Hess and Raymond Castellaw. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
