Phyllis M. Hanson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2021, at the age of 94, Phyllis M. Hanson of Minden, Nebraska passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phyllis M. Hanson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her brother Clarence; her daughter Lois Hanson; her husband Donald E. Hanson; her sister Eleanor Butts; her husband Ray; her brothers-in-law, Lawrence Hanson (Ruth), Robert Hanson (Mary), Doris', Cal and Keith; and her son-in-law Jerry Whitney.
She is survived by: her children, Charles, Karren Whitney of Hastings, Nebraska, Sharlyn Bogner (John Noyes) of Kearney, Nebraska, Mary Lee Whitney (Lyle) of Hastings, Christine Hanson of Elwood, Nebraska, Gordon Hanson (Donna) of Elwood and Chuck Hanson of Lincoln, Nebraska; and her sister Doris Bourn of Auburn, Nebraska. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
Due to health concerns, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic; current CDC and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for Faith-Based Services and Gatherings will be followed.
A memorial has been established in Phyllis' honor and kindly suggested to: the St. John's Catholic Church in Smithfield; the Elwood EMT's; or to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
