It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis A Johnson of Minden, Nebraska, who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phyllis A Johnson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julies Delimont and Hilma Delimont (Anderson); her husband LaMont; her son Dale Hunt; her siblings, Wallace Delimont (Grace), Harold Delimont, Ralph Delimont and Pauline McCutchen (Carl); and her siblings-in-law, Elaine Johnson, Roger Johnson, LaVern Johnson and H. Eugene Johnson.
She is survived by: her former husband Melvin Hunt; her son Brian Johnson (Kris) of Camdenton, Missouri; her daughter-in-law Edna Hunt of Minden; her grandchildren, Michael Hunt (Gina) of St. Joseph, Missouri, Stacy Werner (Steve) of Minden, Terri Rockmann of Lincoln, Peggy Babcock of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Josh Minnick of Omaha, Nebraska; her sister-in-law Beatrice Delimont of California; and also, Brian (Phyllis) and Dale. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews; other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home (401 Burlington St, Holdrege, NE 68949). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
A memorial has been established in Phyllis' honor and kindly suggested to the Phelps County Food Pantry; donations can be dropped off at First Interstate Bank, Holdrege.
