She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo J. Persing and Catherine M. Persing (Van Dam); her husband Bill; her siblings, Leonard Persing, Vince Persing and Eileen Petersen; and her brothers-in-law, Lloyd Bullerman, Lorne Bullerman, Larry Petersen and Dennis Somnis.
She is survived by: her sons, Curtis, Shawn Lupkes (Mandi) of Minden, Curt Lupkes (Cassidy) of Minden and Craig Lupkes (Jenni) of Minden; her adoptive son Chris "CJ" Ewertz (Samantha) of Brush, CO; her grandchildren, Tyson Brown (Chelsie), Gage Lupkes, Gavin Lupkes, Linda Layton (Jerimya), Forest Caldwell, Damian Vogt (Kasie), Wyndser Lupkes and Evan Ewertz; her siblings, Leland Persing (Judy), Kathleen Bullerman, Lois Bullerman, Colleen Somnis, Marian Diekmann (Dan), Phyllis Scholtes (Tom), JoAnn Burkard (Rod) and LeAnn Onken (Doug); and her sister-in-law Theresa Persing. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and close friends.
