LeRoy Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LeRoy Smith of Minden, Nebraska, who passed away on October 17, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Edna Smith; his sister Elaine Guilkey; and his son Andrew. He is survived by: his wife Rita Knuth of Grand Island; his daughter Sheri Hitchler (Rod); his grandchildren, Ryan and Alex; his son Doug Knuth; his grandparents, Doug Knuth and Ryan Hitchler; his nephew Kevin Smith; his son Pete; and also Wes Shannon.
Memorials to the Norman Cemetery are appreciated and the family will honor LeRoy with donations to Minden United Methodist Church, Bethany Home, Alzheimer's Association and American Heart Association.
