With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph G. Tira of Minden, Nebraska, who passed away on November 5, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Tira and Marrietta Tira (Ashbaugh); and his brother Dennis Tira. He is survived by: his former wife Kathryn L. Wixom; his wife Kay of Minden; his children, Jordan (Gary Frank), Jason (Desirae'Tira) and Jami Tira of Minden; his grandchildren, Taylor, Logan, Sohpia, Lydia Frank of Grand Island, Alexis, Izabella, Amelia Tira of Minden and Ethan Tira of Minden; his brother Randy Tira (Carol) of Leechburg, PA; his stepsisters, Crystal Goldstein and Melody McCain of West Leechburg, PA; and his siblings-in-law, Jeri Priester of Kittanning, PA, Mary Jamieson (John) of Caldwell, ID, Kimberlee Wixom Effinger (Thom) of Vancouver, WA and Don Wixom (Barbi) of Nampa, ID. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives, church family, and close friends.
