It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John L. Weber of Minden, Nebraska, born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Lorenz Weber and Gertrude Weber; his daughter Faith Weber Skrdla; and his brother-in-law Dennis Stoltz. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Griesse of Kearney; his children, Michael Weber (Carol) of Pleasanton, NE and Heidi Lubben (Jamison) of Fort Mill, SC; his siblings, Sylvia Stoltz of Rapid City, SD, Rev. Paul Weber of Marquette, MI and Rev David Weber of Houghton, MI.; his grandchildren, Josh Weber (Liz), Meagan Weber (Ryan Roberts), Clay Weber (Jenna), Tyler, Garrison Lubben, Mekaela, Ethan and Andrew Skrdla; his great grandchildren, Samuel, GraceLynn, Bennett and Brayden Weber; and also Nate. He is also survived by his family, friends.

Memorials are suggested to the R.P. Griesse Scholarship Fund at Concordia in Seward, Nebraska, Camp Luther in Three Lakes, Wisconsin, or Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Kearney.
