It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Piester (Minden, Nebraska), who passed away on May 11, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lois (LaVada); his son Tom; his siblings, Jacob, Henry, Fred, Eva Greenwalt, Katherine Bauer Mathiason and Mary Uecker; and his brothers-in-law, Alex Greenwalt, Cecil Bauer, Jerry Uecker and George Hubach.
He is survived by: his son Thomas; his spouse LaVada Layton Piester; his sons, Kent (Janet) of Houston and David (Cindy) of Lincoln; his sisters, Elizabeth Piester of Denver and Lydia Hubach of Fremont; and his stepdaughters, Diana Felzein of Little Rock, Marcy (Don Cochran) of Loveland, Deb (Dick Schwenka) of Minden and Candy (Jack Kimple) of Minden. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, one great, great grandchild; 10 step grandchildren, 12 step great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces, and friends.
