He is survived by: his former wife Carolyn Toombs; his son Terry Custer of Omaha; his wife Judy (Andersen) of Minden; his daughters, Carla Puchalla (Marty) of Lincoln, Robin Sladek (Gene) of Crete and Kathy Martinez (Ronnie) of Elkhart, Indiana; his grandchildren, Mathew Custer, Jake Custer, Haley Martinez, Abby Martinez and Justin Sladek; his great grandchild Chloe; and his sister Joan Fries of Upland. He is also survived by relatives and close friends.
