It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene T. Ryan of Minden, Nebraska, born in Heartwell, Nebraska, who passed away on July 8, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Ryan and Dena Ryan (Pantenburg); his wife Rose; his grandson Jeremy Schwenka; his grandson-in-law Matthew Brass; his great grandchildren, Mary Gabriel Brass and John Paul Faustina Brass; his sister Rosemary Hoban; and his brothers-in-law, James Hoban and Paul Gallagher.
He is survived by: his children, Tom Ryan (Deb) of Lincoln, Terry Ryan (Connie) of Gibbon, Karen Stubbendeck (Kirk) of East Amherst, NY, Mary Jo Schwenka (Dean) of Heartwell and Julie Hill (Matt) of Lincoln; and his siblings, Anabel Gallagher of Kenesaw and Michael Ryan (Cheryl) of Minden. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Gene's honor are kindly suggested to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Holy Family Catholic Church, or to Bethany Home.
