With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eileen M. Raun of Minden, Nebraska, born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 18, 2022 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eileen M. Raun to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis E. Derieg and Rita T. Derieg (Kuhl); her sister Mary Jane Derieg; her grandsons, Nathan Raun and Paul Hoxmeier; her siblings-in-law, Ned, Essie Raun, Del and Joan Kopf; her niece Ellen Miller (Kopf); her nephews, Larry Raun and Bill Raun; and also, Chris and Sarah Raun.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Raun of Minden; her children, Sharon Kresha (James) of Omaha, Carol Walters (Matthew) of Omaha, Christopher Raun (Teresa) of Lincoln, Kevin Raun (Jessica) of Minden, Elizabeth Hoxmeier (Craig) of Orleans and Andrew Raun (Ruth) of Hastings; and her siblings-in-law, Thomas (Peggy Derieg), Arthur and Ruth Raun of Elbert, Colorado. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; brother.
Memorials are suggested to Holy Family Church in Heartwell, St. John's Church in Minden, the Nathan Raun Fund for children's theater in care of the Kearney County Community Foundation, or the University of Nebraska Foundation.
