He was predeceased by: his father Woodrow W. Fisher; and his son Austin Fisher. He is survived by: his mother Iona M. Fisher (Parkhurst) of Callaway; his children, Ryan Fisher of Kearney, Amanda Oswood of Rock Springs, WY and Kasha Wilkie of Omaha; and his siblings, William W. Fisher of Minden and Fran "Kay" Guerro of Minden. He is also survived by relatives and close friends.
