She was predeceased by: her husband Randy E. Sample; her mother Edith Geary (Crile); her siblings, Vida Anderson, Garry Riggs and Frank Riggs; and her brother-in-law Gordon Stull.
She is survived by: her daughter DeEtte (Dan Walters); her grandsons, Cole Walters (Danielle) of Hemingford and Elijah Walters of Hemingford; her sisters, Willetta Hamar of Crawford, Betty Calder of Lincoln and Danniece Stull of Morrill, NE; her siblings-in-law, Jean Riggs of Kearney, Bernadene Halle of Cheyenne, WY, Connie Stricker (Rich) of Hemingford, Rick Sample (Jean) of Crawford, Rhonda Swanson (Dave) of Hemingford and Tammy Griffee (Gary) of Alliance; and her close friends, Georgia and Norman Ring of Minatare. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Minatare Melbeta Volunteer Fire Department or to a charity of the donor's choice.
