It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Leroy Harms of Minatare, Nebraska, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Harms and Josephine Harms (Rowley); and his daughter Brenda Harms. He is survived by: his former wife Joyce Chapman; his wife Jennifer Harms of Minatare; his children, Jerry Lee Harms (Connie) of Gering, Richard Harms of Minatare and Tammy Lightfritz (Scott) of Sidney; his stepchildren, Scott Bernhardt (Char Buskirk) of Gering and Janel Marcoe (Mike) of Gering; his brother Barney Harms (Debi) of Julesburg, CO; his siblings-in-law, Eleanor Harms of Milford, NE and Mike Schaaf (Val) of Grand Island, NE; and his grandchildren, Kelli Harper (Tyson), Mindi Woosley (Darrell), Shelby Gurney (David), Shawna MacIntosh (Matt), Brandon Lightfritz, Brittany Huston (Bryce), Natasha Morrison (David), Caitlyn Bollman (Hunter), Eric Bernhardt, Brooke Alvarez (Marcelino) and Garret Tinsley (Jadyn Block). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
