He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alfred Magdaleno, Sr. and Maria Jesus DeLaCruz; his wife Maria Longoria (Molina); his children, Jeanette Nelson (John), Andrea Longoria (Eric), Armando Mata, Jr. (Amanda), Bernadette Amaya (Bertha) of Nathan Magdaleno, JR, Maria Estrada (Martin Marquez) and Karla Estrada; his siblings, Gloria DeLara, Guadalupe Garcia and Ruben Magdaleno, Sr.; his nephew Isaac DeLara; and also Dorrinda "Dori" Magdaleno. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Diabetes Association.
