He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Eric and Minna Matzke Brunkow; his daughter Kathy Kaye; his grandson Benjamin Edward Polhemus; his siblings, Almon Brunkow, Claremont Brunkow and Neva Zemka (Kenneth); and his siblings-in-law, Irene Mae Synovec, Milton J. Synovec and John Jablonski.
He is survived by: his children, Jay Charles, Lois Butler and Alan Brunkow; his grandchildren, Christa Polhemus-Walker and Brandon Polhemus; his great grandchildren, Caedmon, Emmett Schwanke, Coen Walker, Kason Smith, Ashton, Parker Schweitzer, Zaylie Schweitzer, Anna, Kenzie Polhemus, Macklyn, Finley Smith, Aurora, Waverly, Araminta and Milli Brunkow; his sister Mary Lou Burback; and his husband Donald Burback.
In Lieu of Flowers- Memorials are to be directed to the family for a later designation in memory of Richard.
