He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis J. Svec and Rose Svec (Becwar); his siblings-in-law, Adolph and Evelyn Dlouhy; his brothers, Lloyd Svec and Louis Dale Svec; his brother-in-law Larry Fitzgibbon; and his nephews, Dave Fitzgibbon and Eric Fitzgibbon.
He is survived by: his wife Cheri Svec; his son Kyle (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Kole and Tucker of Milligan; his son Kevin (Angie); his grandchildren, Grant and Cassidy of Gretna; his brother-in-law Gary Fitzgibbon of Milligan; and also Alice Fitzgibbon (Kip) of Scottsbluff.
Memorials are to be directed to Milligan Fire & Rescue or the Milligan Auditorium.
