We bid farewell to LaVern J. Vejraska (Milligan, Nebraska), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 23, 2024 at the age of 85. LaVern touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Vejraska and Vlasta Krupicka; his parents-in-law, Edna Nunns and Francis Nunns; his wife Carol Vejraska of Geneva; and his siblings-in-law, Barb Nunns, Dale Nunns and Fay George.
He is survived by: his sons, Bruce Vejraska (Marcia) of Tobias, Kevin Vejraska of Milligan and Mark Vejraska (Melissa) of Milligan; his grandchildren, Juana Wirth of Wymore, Brandon Wirth (Elizabeth) of Milligan, Kohl Wallace (Doniqua) of Joplin, Ensley Stahl of Milligan, Charlie Vejraska of Milligan and Brody Vejraska of Milligan; his great grandchildren, Kaylnn, Lynnette, Kollin and Benjamin; his sister Lelith Kassik (John Kassik) of Milligan; and his brother-in-law Will George of Seattle, Washington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Farmer & Son Funeral Home - Kotas Chapel (601 Main St, Milligan, NE 68406). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Bohemian National Cemetery.
