He was predeceased by: his parents, Gust Sluka and Mayme Sluka (Hromadka); and his siblings, Jim and Doris. He is survived by: his uncle Jim; his great grandchild Nicole; his stepgrandchildren, Nick, Alex and Grace of Shandra; his wife Lorene Sluka; his daughter Linda (Rick Korbelik); his grandchildren, Nicole Zelenka and Shandra Reinsch; and his great grandchildren, Layne, Laycee Zelenka, Nick Reinsch, Alex, Wes Rippe (Piper) and Grace Reinsch.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Farmer & Son Funeral Home-Kotas Chapel (601 Main St, Milligan, NE 68406). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Farmer & Son Funeral Home - Kotas Chapel (601 Main St, Milligan, NE 68406).
