He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Emma Ferguson (Ferguson); his son Douglas Dean (Tamara); his granddaughter Janet Lynn; his parents, Theodore Nichols and Dasie Nichols; his siblings, Wesley Roy and Donna Jean; his granddaughters, Dasie, Dawnae, Annabelle, Karla and Darla of Miller; his daughter Janet Lynn (Tim Burr) of Sumner, NE; his granddaughter Nicole (Ric Garcia); his great grandchildren, Jonathan and Tristan Garcia; his grandson Terry Burr; his great grandchildren, Ember and Wiley Burr of Riverdale, NE; his granddaughter Shaylee Burr of Dallas, TX.; and his siblings, Marybelle-Burge Miller of Ruby Burt, Carol Rowedder-Kearney, Allen of Elm Creek, Larry of Kearney, Glen of Miller, Rodger of Sumner, Kenneth of Cozad and Bernard of Berwyn. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
