He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Shields (Larabee) of Clarinda, IA; his wife Jodie Shields of Miller; his son Justen Shields (Tammy); his grandchildren, Dillon, Tyler (Cameron), Brett, Brittany and Destiny; his son Jacob Shields (Stasha); his grandchild Morgan; his daughter Shaley Stithem (Kyle); his grandchildren, Ella, Beda, Hattie and Lyla; his son Jared Shields (Iris); his grandchildren, Isaiah (Ashley), Isaac, Carter and Izzy; his son Josh Shields (Jessica); his grandchildren, Paul and Jada; his daughter Lindsay Reitz (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Gracie, Aaron, Noah, Faith, Hope, Joy and Gideon; his daughter Noelle Verzal (Brandon); his grandchildren, Emrie and Baby Boy; his son Jordan Shields (Kirsten); his grandchildren, Kali and Eden; and his siblings, Ronnie Shields, Sandy Alexander (Mike), Deb Argo (Don) and Pam Sittner.
