Marilyn Saltzman wrote a sympathy message

“Linda, I wasn't able to get your address so do hope you will see this note. Memories of Dorothy, your gracious Mom, take me back to country school days. Soon after you moved to the Milford area, I remember staying overnight with you, and that evening your Mom made sure we had fun things to do in your room, as she and your Dad planned to watch a movie she felt was not age appropriate for us (perhaps Alfred Hitchcock??...so tame by today's standards). Anyway, I felt very much loved and protected in your home. Also recall coming back to Nebraska after I was married, when Mom and I would see your Mom on occasion (Pac 'n Save, etc), and feeling such affection from her warm greetings and genuine interest. Someone opined that losing one parent causes a 'comma' in our life, but it feels more like a 'period' after both parents are gone. You may be sensing that day at your Mom's memorial service. Please know that Nathan and my prayers are with you during this time of sadness, even as you look forward to meeting again in God's new heaven and new earth. With Love, Marilyn Saltzman”
