He is survived by: his wife Berniece Waterman; his children, Chanel Shaffer and Jerome Brown (Judith); his grandchildren, Joan Robinson Valley (Matt), Jen LaSavage (Mike), Liz Howland (Josh), Josh Shaffer (Chris) and Alicia Petersen (Luke); his great grandchildren, Elliot Petersen, Emma Petersen and Fin Robinson Valley; and his brother Tony Brown (Patricia). He is also survived by extended family, and many friends.
