He was predeceased by: his sister Elizabeth; his brother-in-law Lilburn; and his nephew Jeff McCarty. He is survived by: his spouse Helen Fry; his daughters, Melissa Babers (Brandon) of Oldsmar and Tina Davis of Merna; his grandchildren, Tyler McCarty of Omaha, Heather Davis of Omaha, Austin Davis of Merna and Blake Babers of Oldsmar; his great grandchild Zoey Weinmaster of Omaha; and his siblings, Laura Mannel (Bill) of Anselmo, Larry McCarty (Fran) of Rockford, Charles McCarty (Vicki) of North Platte and Vic McCarty (Sandy) of Lincoln. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
