She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Brestel and Mary Brestel (Thinnes); her husband Billy; her siblings, Bob, Gene, Roger Brestel and Elizabeth Mae Brestel; her grandson Cole Arnold; her great grandchild Leyna Gilligan; and also, Roy and Ruby.
She is survived by: her son Billy McCandless; her siblings-in-law, Mary Jane Brestel, Darla Brestel, Eldon, Nick and Terry Troy McCandless; her daughters, BJ Baxter (Rod), Pamela Gilligan (Ben), Louise Arnold (Tyke), Cynthia Christen (Paul), Julie McCaslin (Jerry) and Peggy Steele (Jeff); her brothers, Ken Brestel and Dick Brestel (Nadine); and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Brestel, Shirley Brestel, Connie McCandless and Joleen Stewart. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
