She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora R. Shaw and Zella Pearl Schmidt Shaw; her brother Vernon Shaw; and her parents-in-law, Paul and Caroline Volmer Safranek.
She is survived by: her sister Gertrude Safranek Tillman (Karl Safranek); her sister-in-law Kathryn; her siblings, Mildred, Emma Safranek Lyon (Dwight) and Josepine Safranek Cool (Dale); her husband Herman Safranek; her children, Gerald Safranek (Karen), Roger Safranek (Sharon) and Joyce Safranek Mooberry (James); her grandchildren, Kevin Safranek (Martha), Craig Safranek (Kelli), Troy Safranek, Brent Safranek (Leslie), Jason Mooberry and Johanna Mooberry Sumsky; and her great grandchildren, Collin Safranek (Olivia), Kourtney Safranek Hutt (Logan), Rhett Safranek, Kade Safranek, Hadlee Safranek Davis (Dylan), Shaylyn Safranek, Cruze Safranek and Melody Sumsky. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
