She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nelson and Clara Ann Nelson (Sorensen); her sister Joanne Townsend; her niece Becky Townsend; and also, Owen Anderson of Melbeta, NE and Colin Anderson of Kimball, NE.
She is survived by: her husband Owen Anderson of Melbeta, NE; her son Jeff Anderson (Shellon) of Kimball, NE.; her grandchild DaNesa Fleck (Ty); her great grandchild Grayson of North Platte, NE.; her grandchild Kyle Anderson (Alisa); her great grandchildren, Kamden of Kimball, NE., Richard Anderson (Michelle) of Gering and David Anderson (Kimberli) of Gering, NE; her son Colin Anderson of Kimball, NE; and also, Anthony Edwards and Jon Anderson (Danielle) of Gering, NE.. She is also survived by 1 great great grandson and many nieces and nephews.
Janice had a long 15 year battle with Alzheimer's & Dementia, in lieu of flowers the family has designated Friends of Alzheimer's & Dementia, a nonprofit under the Oregon Trail Community Foundation in Scottsbluff as the memorial.
