He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Marker and Vera Marker (Howard); his parents-in-law, George H. and Marie Miller (Meter); and his brother-in-law Dave Sinks.

He is survived by: his wife Janice Miller; his children, Ty Marker (Kerry) of Gering, NE and Heidi Ahrens (Joel) of Sidney, NE; his grandchildren, Ethan Marker, Liz Marker, Eli Ahrens and Chloe Ahrens; and his sister Linda Sinks of Bridgeport. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
