He was predeceased by: his parents, Florian Scholz and Theresa Scholz (Weichman); his siblings, Ken and Janice; his stepmother Velma; his nieces, Lisa and Julie; and his great-nephew Jared.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Clark; his children, Adam Scholz of Lincoln, NE, Theresa Danczak (Lee) of Johnston, IA, Clark Scholz (Stephanie) of York, Amanda Sheffield (Eddie) of McCool Jct and Stuart Scholz of Johnston, IA; his grandchildren, Raegan, Devyn, Eli, Logan, Serenity, Ambreelle, Kaya, Channing, Zarina, Tommi Jo, Victoria, Anna and Mary Tyler; and his siblings, Marvin Scholz (Phyllis), Roger Scholz (Mary Ellen) and Joyce Brelsford (Bill) of Willimantic, CT. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
